Daroma-Tzafona is a nonprofit organization, funded through donations only. The Daroma-Tzafona for Businesses program is designed to consolidate, strengthen, advance and grow industries in Israel’s northern and southern areas, utilizing a variety of financing and management business tools. They provide businesses and their managers with a complete as possible package of supportive business services to significantly develop their business activities and create significant added value both for their business and their surroundings. They work to strengthen and encourage the small to mid-size business sector, a key regional growth stimulus. By doing so they are aiming for a more balanced and reasonable distribution of the industrial sector revenues; export; employment; and profits. Currently Daroma-Tzafona support over 500 manufacturing businesses
Mr. Tiano presented Visual Factories PIM Solution (Production Improvement Management system). He showed how PIM can be used by factories to become significantly more efficient. Specifically, how to connect People, Data and Resources which are the three core elements of any factory. He also presented the PIM’s ability to connect with any machine using any protocol and even with machines that are not controlled by a PLC. All this at high flexibility and a low cost.
“Though we intend to promote PIM globally, we are first and foremost proud to take part in the improvement of the Israeli industry” says Matti. “This is our home”.
