Matti Tiano, CEO of Visual factories was invited to present to the esteemed delegation of Baden-Württemberg, headed by the Minister President of this Federal German State and his minister of Economic affairs and labor.
Baden-Württemberg, is one of the most industrial German states, responsible for 15.2% of the German GDP, 30% of the German mechanical engineering industry, and 40% of the automotive workforce.
The delegation selected to visit Israel, as they see the high potential of Israeli Startup companies. One of the interest fields most important to the delegation are technologies from the world of Industry 4.0. They wish to learn about available products and services that would help keep Baden-Württemberg at its lead position in industrial production.
Matti presented PIM, Visual Factories’ Production Improvement Management system to the delegation. He specified how production factories can use PIM to become significantly more efficient to remain competitive in the global arena. Specifically, how PIM helps optimize the machine utilization rate while monitoring and controlling the cost per part and measuring the gross profit improvements. Matti continues to show that PIM connects People, Data and Resources which are the three core elements of any factory. He also demonstrated the PIM’s ability to connect with any machine using any protocol and even with machines that are not controlled by a PLC. All this at high flexibility and a low cost.
“Meeting with the delegation was invigorating”, says Matti, they are serious about the solutions they are looking for and are very committed to keeping their industry up-to-date and competitive. Their search for new Industry 4.0 technology finds Visual Factories at a pivotal moment – the time when we are ready to share our technology overseas.”
